Race Information:
Distance is 21.1km (Half Marathon).
Race starts at 8:30am on Sunday 18th May 2025.
Congregation in Campion Park (Click here to see location on map).
Individual Registration Fee is £15 for the race.
Cash Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male & female overall runners.
The prizes are £200, £100 and £50 overall.
Additionally, a £50 prize is available for the first male runner under 1hr 10mins and female runner under 1hr 22mins.
Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third placed Male/Female runners in the following categories:
- Senior 18 to 34
- Masters A 35 to 44
- Masters B 45 to 54
- Masters C 55 to 59
- Masters D 60+
A medal will be handed out to all finishers.
Presentation of Trophies and Cash Prizes will be held at 10:30am.
Race Route:
Start: Line Wall Road by Gib Oil Petrol Station
Loop 1: Line Wall Road → Lovers Lane → Trafalgar Interchange → Rosia Road → Cumberland Road → Turn by Rosia Plaza → Cumberland Road → Rosia Road Ragged Staff Road → Queensway → Waterport Road → Glacis Road → Line Wall Road
Loop 2 & 3: Line Wall Road → Lovers Lane → Trafalgar Interchange → Rosia Road → Cumberland Road → Turn by 100 Ton Gun → Cumberland Road → Rosia Road → Ragged Staff Road → Queensway → Waterport Road → Glacis Road → Line Wall Road
End: Line Wall Road → Lovers Lane → Trafalgar Interchange → Ragged Staff Road → Queensway → Mid Town Park pathway
The following must be adhered to:
- No holding area for clothes or personal belongings will be available.
- Bibs not to be returned back once used.
- Toilet facilities may not be available on the day of the race.
Note: This is a ‘Road Race’ and as with all road races care must be taken with road traffic and pedestrians. Marshals will be placed at intervals across the route.
How to Register:
Race Registration:
No registration on the day. Registration is to be done prior to the event with a cut-off date of Thursday 15th May 2025. This must be done by completing the online registration form available on this page under “Race Registration”. Team captains are encouraged to submit (if possible) one registration form with full details of their team for the race rather than have all individuals register themselves. In order to have your name printed out on the race bib, you need to sign up by latest 12th May.
Bib Collection/Cash Payment Information:
Council Member Mr. Roy Torres will be available on the morning of the race between 7:45am and 8:15am for bib collection. Payments are to be made to the GAAA Treasurer’s NatWest/Revolut Account (Mr. Jerai Torres on +34711018751) or alternatively in cash on the morning of the race.
