The GAAA has organised the Image Graphics Youth Road Runners League comprised of three races scheduled before the end of the year for boys and girls.
This season a fee of £5 will be charged to all athletes competing in all the three races of the league or a fee of £2 to any athlete wishing to compete in any one individual race.
The following categories will be catered for in this league:
- 8 Years
- 9 Years
- 10 Years
- 11 Years
- 12 Years
- 13 Years
Season Entry: £5 (Covers all the races)
Individual Entry: £2 (Covers one race)
An overall league trophy will be awarded to the first three of each category. Best three results of the three races to count.
All athletes who complete at least two races will be entitled to a participation medal.
The presentation of the league trophies and medals will be held directly after the last race at Europa Point. The Europa Point Sports Complex Cafeteria will be used for this purpose.

The GAAA have decided to change the start of the road racing league as the previous date was during the mid-term break and many athletes would have not been able to participate.
Race routes and date for the Road Racing League meeting with team captains will be announced during next week.

Trophy presentation for the Rock Runners league 2019/2020, The Xmas 3 day Race Festival 2020 and the Spring Festival 2021 will be done in the Victoria Stadium Muga area after the 4km Loop race Scheduled on Sunday 26th September.
This will commence at around 10:30am.

LATEST CONSTITUTION
Frank Carreras was re-elected yesterday evening President of Gibraltar Athletics. The Election took place during the Annual General Meeting which was held at the Lecture Room at the Tercentenary Hall. Carreras received an absolute majority of the votes from the floor.
Robert Matto was re-elected Vice President and Maurice Turnock was elected General Secretary both having received a unanimous vote by of show of hands.
Jerai Torres was elected Treasurer. The two candidates for the post of Treasurer were Jerai Torres having received 15 votes and Louis Chichon also having received 12 votes.
The 4 Gibraltar Athletics Council members elected were: Hector Romero, Avelino Baldacchino, Jonathan Chichon and Roy Torres.
At the conclusion of the Election, Frank Carreras thanked Louis Chichon for his loyal and dedicated service to the Association after over 30 years involved in the GAAA council.
The Gibraltar Amateur Athletic Association EGM followed by the AGM will take place on the 2 September 2021 at the Lecture Room, Tercentenary Sports Hall at 7:30pm.
Please note the following:
1. Senior Members wishing to submit motions for discussion shall give notice to the Secretary via email maurice.turnock@gmail.com 7 clear days before the AGM (26 August 2021).
2. Voting rights and other rights at an annual general or extraordinary meeting will be restricted to full, senior members of the Association in accordance with Rules 5 and 7(f) of the Constitution.
3. NOMINATIONS FOR COUNCIL (form can be downloaded below) must be received in writing by the Secretary on or before the 26 August 2021. For the avoidance of doubt the Election will take place on the 2 September 2021 at the time of the AGM.
